According to Remarks by Chief Justice Athar Minallah. ” The Real Estate Business by the Govt. Institutions were an illegal practice. In response to that Attorney General of Pakistan General Syed Tayyab Shah said that the summary will get moved to the federal cabinet in the upcoming week in the light of the court’s directions.
The court stated that it was a conflict of interest for govt institutions to involve in any kind of real estate business. The court further said that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA ) was to take any action against those illegal housing societies but they itself involved in such business. The court further said that they will take the final decision after listening the final arguments on the subject of this matter in the light of basic human rights.
